I remember an interview with an interrogator and he stated that he
conducted very productive interviews by bringing the prisoner a Subway
sandwich and a Coke. However, some prisoners were more productive after
some psychological manipulation such as sleep cycle disruption,
light/time cycle disruption, heat and cold cycles, etc. Why is it that
the liberals don't consider sawing somebody's head off torture?

OK, you have a point. Like this one:

Those "freedom fighters" in the Afghan hills were the mujahedeen faction run
by Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, famous for throwing acid in the faces of women who
refused to wear the veil.

Those damned liberals have no morals.
