Do you suppose your hypothesis is testable?
What is the isotopic distribution of carbon dioxide dissolved in ocean
water? What is it in the air? What is it in fossil fuels? Has and
if
so, how has it been changing in each?

Ned points to a NASA page that shows the increased absorption of CO2. I
don't know all the specifics of the whole interactions and how equilibrium
is reached at different concentrations and temperatures. I just pointed out
that cooler water will hold more CO2 in solution. Both of my soda bottles
have the same molarities. Do you think ALL there is to know about it is
known?
Old fashioned pollution is a bigger threat to us than CO2. The naturalists
I have spoken to on Canadian lakes have explained the damage from acid rain
that had killed lakes is from the sulfur in coal burned thousands of miles
away. Oddly enough, sulfur compounds in the atmosphere reflect solar energy
and help counteract GW.
