Re: Water injection

And don't forget you have to clean and repair the solar array.
I worked in a building that was under the runway of a middle sized city.
The array on top had to be washed once a week (at least) to get the gum off
from the blasting off jet planes.

Noise abaitment uses a lot more gas/fuel and a lot of it is dumped un-burnt.
So the people that moved under the runways wouldn't hear the takeoff at night,
or during the day - we all paid for that one in more ways than one.

Nuke plants driving the grid, charging electric cars, would be a great

It IS available today.

A small electric car has around a 100 mile range at around 60 miles per
hour. That is enough to handle a large percentage of all commutes.
Expect to see one like that cost around $20,000.

Got a link for me? If I can buy it, I'm interested. Of course, that's
only half the equation, what with not having any new nuke plants. Hell,
even France is using nuke more than we are. France?!?!?!?

Charge it with solar and drive for free

Don't forget the taxes and insurance on the car, and the taxes and
installation cost on the 10 acres of solar panels and the taxes and
acquisition cost on the 10 acres of land under them to get enough solar
power to have a chance of charging an electric car...
