Re: http://www.frugalmachinist.com: Hey Ron!

ya know Ron its assholes like you that make such assumptions, and have
no basis or ability to back up their assumptions that make the world
go around and gives folks with common sense and brains a good laugh
and keen ideas to act on.. I am sure you or wherever you may have
heard about this process from heard it from someone else as
well...Matter of fact I heard and seen it done when I was not all that
big into machine work by my grandfather many many years ago. Over time
it has resurfaced in the inner circles of folks that gather aorund and
shoot the bull, you know friends and stuff like that, or talking to an
old timer here and there....While it was not taught per se at the
military tech school the instructors there who have seen lots of
interesting shortcuts such as this over their many years of
involvement pass on tid bits of info to folks as there may be a time
where a DI may not be readily available and you still need to get a
part finished for a combat situation, so I would suggest you start
your beef with Aberdeen Machinist school, and if my grandfather was
still alive I would tell you to go talk to him as well.....hell even a
local oldtimer here was going to show me this method.....so take y our
assumption and do what you have to do to satisfy your little simple
mind. As for me, your assinine style has invoked a new outlook in my
life......I will reinstall a major portion of my website to include
mostly projects, pertaining to machine shop and casting use, and all
the technical info I had there previously, with a little note that I
do not support any question and answer sessions on anyhting that is
given on th website, and can install that forum software with the
understanding that their questions may or may not be answered. I will
also add a new email name to my email account and notify all that need
to have it as to what it is now going to be, and just redirect all
emails sent to the original chipmaker@frug whatever site to get a
canned reply that their email is appreciated but individsual attention
is not possible.......hell I pay for all the neat web tools with my
domain so why ot use them........and I will be sure to make it a point
to tell folks to look around why pay for stuff such as is listed on
your site when its all readily available for free.......I have
received over 1,100 emails since I shut my site down, from individuals
and other sites, so since I still have two more years IIRC left on my
domain and server rental I may as well use it and let folks gleem what
they can possibly use, and take it from there....it would be a
diservice to interested hobby machinist types out there not to have
good viable info for free, while I sit on all those GB of server space
only getting dusty and used to store family pics on......You have
enlightened my way of thinking with your assumptions and statement, so
you better get over it.....The new Frugal machinist website is going
to resurface once again........lets just see how far you want to
pursue this little so called tid bit of info......I'm game.

And for the record, I have barely ever glanced over any portion of
your website(s) as your methods and so called perfection leaves
IMNSHO a lot to be desired.......and its just not my style. I have
never bought this so called paper you sell for what is it, $9.95,
IIRC , got to forgive me, as I just paid your site a visit about an
hour ago and forgot already as it left a very poor impression on me)
anyhow I have never purchased it, nor have I ever seen it, nor have I
received it from anyone in any forms of communication.....although
IIRC and I may be wrong the process was posted in this forum and other
forums long ago. I believe I seen it on a few forums over the
years.....for free no less......

Regards and I hope your day is as wonderfull as all of mine are!
Roy
