moderator's announcement

Hi all,

I'm heading off to the annual Society of North American Goldsmiths annual
conference in Savannah in a few hours. As a result, and as seems usual when I
travel, you may expect somewhat sporadic newsgroup moderation services once I'm
there, until I figure out the needed hoops to jump through to get properly
connected again. It's an interesting puzzle each time, it seems. Anyway, have
patience if necessary. Message delays may be more than usual.
