You can get a sorta 'faux' chatoyant effect sometimes with straight or=20
curved sanding. using an end-oriented stainless brush in a drill press=20
with overlapping you can get a 'faux' engine turned effect that's fun. I=20
think the use of 'multi-etch' even on a fairly fine finish does more for=20
color brilliance than texture alone - but texture also gives a little=20
scratch protection to the color. I've had more than one other artist=20
mistake some of my pieces for niobium.
