I come back after a few months and everything's in super slo-mo. What
the heck is going on? Or should I say NOT going on?

Well, for one, you've been missing :-)

What's going on with me is the following (some people here know, but
very few): we had a major power (electrictiy) problem at home mid
February, and while we did find an electrician and he did file for a
building
permit (need a new breaker box for starts) and called us when the
permit
came in and all that, but we're still living on the end of an extension
cord
run over from the neighbor, everything takes more time (make hot water
for washing dishes on the (propane) stove, spend 3 hours per week at
the
laundromat, etc.), we also had 40" of rain in the last 6 weeks (meaning
no
hot water if you have to depend on solar alone), I got to harvest Job's

Tears because I'm barely keeping up with orders, the kid is about to
graduate
high school, with all the paperwork that implies (applied to 4 colleges
and
got accepted to 3, FAFSA and such), and I'm still working full time (I
almost
said "on the side").

Today we moved my desk, not far, but right now, other than more
space in the living room, the major effect for me is that the power
cord of
the notebook actually reaches to the end of the living room extension
cord so that I can run the notebook without having to move extension
cords around (!).

I have a craft fair coming up in 3 weeks and not made much of anything
since December. One of these days I have to borrow the kid's camera and
take some pictures of what I have been making - wire wrapped my first
Kukui Nut last night -.
