Dear Blair,
thanks very much indeed.
I have not, as yet tried it, but it looks the answer,
Sorry to lose faith with the news group,
The birch rods come out of the closet.
and sorry, Tracy for not pursuing your "answer mit brevity"
I got a big fat silence in XP. :)
Some newsgroups are like that. :^)
This is more of a common problem than one would think. When setting
up a local web site on my computer, I had to have files in specific
places in order for the server / php / etc. to find them.
I could hard code them, but then it wouldn't be transportable to an
on-line web site later on. I just have to make sure I have my "paths"
documented someplace.
Getting that from another site, like TL mentioned, I too downloaded
the Zoellner collection info - because it is one of the most
comprehensive U.S. exhibits - and had to set up folders to match the
..htm pages.

Rodney:
(1) Download the HTML zip file 22190-h.zip (1.25 Megs)
(2) Extract file 22190-h.htm from 22190-h.zip (I used WinZip)
and put it into the main folder (directory) on Drive C:
(3) Create a sub-folder of this main one, called "images".
(no quotes in the name please)
(4) Extract all the jpg files from 22190-h.zip and put them
into the newly created "images" folder (directory).
(5) Go back to the main folder and double click on the
22190-h.htm file. The stamp images will appear in the
correct places.
