Very mysterious

I suspect the word in the top line of the diamond is 'Palembang' (in
South Sumatra). My Dutch isn't up to much, but I suspect 'SEINT' id
Dutch, not English.

The Chinese appears to be simply numbers - a telephone number perhaps?
- not a sufficient address for delivery in Canton, which even then was
a big city.

However there is a Hong Kong receiver backstamp 16.JU 35 and a faint
Chinese receiver.

What is the story? Why an English language cancel? What is the meaning
of �Sent via radio� when there is evidence the cover travelled to
destination?

Any insight will be appreciated.
