I was unaware of that option, and look forward to trying that out!
Also, there is nearly no limit on the total weight of images that you
can store in the Google / Picasa servers (more than 1 GB IIRC).
For 90 degree swivel I have been using my ACDSee program
which will do a batch alignment on selected images.
Yes I was doing that before : but with ACDSee you need to select the
images to rotate one by one ; with Picasa it is all automatic !!!
(provided the camera has this facility but I think most of them have
this feature)
I tend to gravitate towards small efficient programs, but this Picasa
offers some great options that will conflict with ACDSee, my
previously most oft used program, I even use ACDSee in preference to
Windows Explorer.
Of course, I still use ACDSee for other specific operations.
For instance, after selecting say the 200 best photos among the 2000 I
took during my trip to La Reunion Island, I whished to rename all these
200 photos from 001.jpg to 200.jpg. This can be done automatically in
ACDSee in a few clicks by selecting all these pictures and clicking on
"Rename". The pictures are renamed in batch. I can also add
automatically the name of the author (me or my wife) as we have
different cameras and still have all our pictures in chronological order.
In Win98se I had an early adobe reader, which was fine but the new
edition is bloatware, and is over 10Mb IIRC.
Even worse than that : my acrobat.exe is nearly 10 Mb ; the French language extension is 1.9 Mb and my Acrobat folder is ... 116 Mo :-((((
"Foxit" is fast and very snappy indeed.
I'll try it !
You shall have to google for the perforation utility, also I think
Mario has an option in his program. I think to run these programs
correctly every stamp image has to be identical in their scanned
parameters.
I found it (see my other post answering Bill Sharpe)
Cheers and thanks Pierre :)
Y're most welcome !
Cheers
