just to be clear, I am no expert, I do not belong to
a club to benefit from others, this is just my opinion.
Firstly, I would encourage you to establish the mesh of the paper
to confirm 1st wmk.
My base resolution for scans to "flyspeck" is double what you offer
at least 500 dpi.
The stamp appears (guess) to be cancelled in "BENDIGO" (Victoria)
It has nibbled perfs, badly centred.
To me it shows no signs of any "variety"
I enclose the acsc descriptors from the 1974 catalogue,
and a scan of an auction I will be attending in about 30 minutes time
showing 2d roos.
(I shall be bidding on 500 x 1d roos for $40 :)

This stamp family is real fun for fly specking along with the KG5 sideface.
