Seeking a collective term for animals of pre history.
Fauna doesn't seem to fit, neither dinosaur.
I'm fetching a blank, any ideas?

Thanks for all those great ideas, gentlemen :)
I'll probably settle for a soft option, as "zooology"
or a more definitive "prehistoric mammals" which
seems to cover most animals shown on stamps.
(The Sabre cats and Mammoths etc)
Paleontology, or Paleozooology included dinosaurs,
which was too broad.
I was curious if there was a little known classifier
like "Miasma philately" for malaria stamps, or if one collected
some of the hunting topics of Bulgaria or Hungary
"Venery philately"
