Non-active coin collector (me), accepted as partial payment, I got these:

Sorry, not great pic, I'll try to take better pics in the sun tomorrow.
They are all 1 ounce gold coins, 2 from the US, 2 from Australia, 1 from
China (?).

Trying to figure the best way to sell them and the price I can expect.  Some
general research on the inernet got results that didn't give as good news as
I hoped.

Say the spot price of gold is $930.  That's for an unformed "blob" of gold.
I would think a gold coin would be worth more.  How much, no idea, but I
would think more.  Now I understand about dealers needing to make a profit,
but how much?  I called a few places and they were offering me like $780 or
so.  That much of discount to sell to a dealer?

I also saw people trying to get in the $1200-1300 range.  I understand
they're just trying to snag someone, and I don't expect that.  But I was
hoping to get in the $930 range, figuring that since it's a coin rather than
a blob, and that would hopefully make up the difference for the "dealer
premium" when selling to them.

I know the pictures aren't much to go on, but are any of those that I have
have any collector value beside the gold content?  I.e., are they rare?
They're all late 1980's and newer, so I wouldn't think so.

What is the best place/method to sell to get a decent fair price?  I'm not
looking to rip someone off, but I'd like to get a fair price on my side too.
I realize I won't get top dollar.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.  I'm not a regular coin
dealer, so while I'll try, I might not see a reply post.  If you could
respond by direct email, it would be much appreciated.  Thanks,

If you could say what region of the country, or what major city you
are near, the group could probably indicate who is a reputable dealer
(i.e., one who pays O.K. and has a good check) in your vicinity. You
don't have to give us your exact city.
