Everyone would prefer a coin without the ding, most importantly the person who one day will consider buying it from either you or your heir. If you have to convince yourself that the coin is a good buy, it's not for you. A slabbed problem coin is still a problem coin.
What does that stick on the bottom of the obverse (that looks like he is about to sit on) represent?
