Hello

I was listening to National Public Radio (Market Place),
when a story came up on the Penny. The story can be found
on the link shown below.

http://marketplace.publicradio.org/display/web/2008/02/18/penny/

I totally disagree with Dan Drezner remarks in getting
rid of the Penny. If a piece of gum cost me 0.03 cents,
I would have to pay 0.05 cents for it. It I buy something
that cost 0.06 cents, I would have to pay 0.10 Cents.

Please check out the link below on why the Penny should
stay. I see no reason not to have the Penny made out
of Aluminum like they did in 1974, for general public
transactions. Copper is over Three Dollars a pound while
Aluminum is over a dollar a pound.
