I respectfully disagree with you on that statement, because please note
above in the thread that I have stated I have older American tools which I
favour over this imported Asian crap in plastic. You see my point is this,
American companies in pursuit of higher profitability for their
shareholders, and fattened bonuses and golden parachutes for their officers,
downsized, outsourced, and exported all their manufacturing capability to
Communist, yes, China is Communist, China.

Meanwhile the crapatalists are still going around proclaiming they won the
Cold War. Well we will see what happens when the Chinese pull the plug and
pull their money out of US bonds and treasuries and cause the catastrophic
collapse of the USA.

Example: Sears has sold Craftsman tools since 1927. One of the selling
points on all of their hand tools was that they had a lifetime warranty, if
you broke it, they replaced it. No questions or nonsense. But now if you
go into Sears they sell these crappy Chinese tools in some blue and green
holder that has NO guarantee, warranty etc.

With the car, I have a Pontiac also, it is a piece of crap. I only have it
because I did not buy it, it was a gift. But it is a piece of crap, it has
had several problems already, yes, it is a 5 year old car with regular
maintenance etc. But it only has 40,000 miles, and lots of issues already.
