That's exactly what I try to do. With many higher priced items, I have
found that imports have been priced pretty close to their US-made
counterpart, if they want to be competitive. > Bruce
Can I ask you, what beyond automobiles, many of which are assembled in the
USA of foreign components by GM, Ford and whatever aspires to be Chrysler,
can you buy that has an American counterpart? I would also suffice to offer
that my Honda automobile was purchased, because it is actually more American
than your crappy Ford product, and was assembled in Marysville OH by
American workers, using mostly American made components.
Nothing electronic, technological, absolutely practically nothing. The only
American made things I have are stuff that are really old, but well made. I
have several power tools from the 1960's like drills, saws etc. that are
much sturdier than crap put out today. I am just glad to have inherited
them from my grandfather when he passed, otherwise I would have to buy this
crappy plastic BS that the rest of you fools have to. I treat my tools with
care, for they were well built, but cannot be replaced like this plastic
crap cranked out everyday in China.
