Howdy friends!
Just a quick note to let my pals here know that I have not abandoned
my
love of numismatics, in fact, far from it. However, I have recently
become keenly interested in self defense and home defense. In recent
weeks, I have purchased some weapons (handguns) and have been going
regularly to the range to sharpen my skills with them. My new .357
revolver is really fun to shoot! And my new .45 semi-auto is an
absolute
dream!
A scary post, I'm glad I don't anywhere close to you. Billy
It's interesting that you would choose to fear a good person with a
tool
which does only what that good person chooses to have it do. Can you
explain your thought process?
I replied to the OP recently that this part of his post got me worried.
"There's just something about holding one in your hand, fully loaded,
and thinking of the
awesome power that it can deliver upon command!
Billy
Sounds to me like he simply understands the responsibility he has for the
powerful weapon he owns. If that worries you, you'd best stay in the
house when my Camaro drives by.
Bruce
Do you sport a mullet to match your car? http://www.mulletsgalore.com/
I'm over 65 and although my car is a convertible, my hairstyle doesn't match
it-- yet. I still enjoy a thick head of hair that I never tried to style
in any particular way.
Do NOT attempt to drive quickly round a corner, if you have any corners
that it, the UK is full of corners which is why USA cars sell badly here.
Yeah. Everything is straight here.
They are great value for £ per HP but they are not suitable for UK roads
few of which are dead straight for miles. The cost of fuel here is
another reason that USA cars are poor sellers. A V8 uses a lot of fuel.
Billy
That's why I thought you might get worried if you saw something like that
drive by. Here in the States, we have gas stations where you can stop and
refuel when you use up what you had. They're all over the place. A gallon
of gas or petrol or whatever costs less than a bottle of water at the
airport. We have loads of money over here, too, so we can use all the gas
we want. When we eventually use it all up, our great grand children will
have found a suitable substitute. In the meantime...................> >
