The House has passed an amendment to move "In God We Trust" from the
edge of dollar coins to the face.

Personally, I'd rather see the year back on the obverse, or reverse,
rather than "In God We Trust".

When I read the subject of this thread I thought they were removing it
entirely. Surely they will cave in when the non-thinking religious
zealots
raise a holy war, I thought.

Now I see they have already caved in. How stupid. Of all the wrongs and
injustices in the world and these idiots cry and moan about such trivial
things. Here is an idea: take all these tools of Satan that have IGWT on
the edge and donate them to a worthwhile charity and actually make a
difference in the world instead of jumping on some BS sanctimonious
bandwagon issue.

Nah... better to whine about meaningless crap.

Seems like most of the whiners I have seen in here are the ones that want
IGWT gone. Keep on whining.

The pro-IGWT folks have had their way with coins since 1938 and bills since
1957, so I wouldn't expect any whining from them. Oh, wait, I forgot about
the "Putting it on the edge is the first step toward eliminating it
entirely" group. Lots of wailing and gnashing of teeth from those folks.
But don't take my word for it, read the papers and find out firsthand what
they are saying.
