It does not bother me. It would be nice if you could stop the blink to read things or stop the marquee to read it all or speed it up.

The MARQUEE tag, used to create this appalling effect is right up there with
the BLINK tag, as features to be avoided at all costs. Most sensible HTML
guides are careful to advise their non-use.

Netscape was sensible enough to not allow it, but (dammit!) Firefox *does*.
