DON'T FEED THE TROLLS!

You guys want to get rid of the annoyances plaguing your group? When
you keep replying to their posts, they just feel more welcome to post
their drivel. Simply put, DO NOT REPLY, EMAIL, or communicate with them
in any way. Do not even mention them in any of your posts.
Another good tactic is to contact their IPS or email providers and
report them. It's usually something like abuse@xxxxxxxxxx If they are
posting using Google Groups, Here is some info from their page:
How can I report cases of Usenet abuse from people posting through
Google Groups?
Send a message to groups-abuse@xxxxxxxxxx describing the offense.
Please note, in order to investigate reports of abuse you must include
the full header of the offending post.
Google does not regularly monitor or censor postings sent to Google
Groups, but we do try to prevent wide-scale spam and other forms of
Usenet abuse. Please be assured that the information you send to us is
being collected and taken into account. While we understand how
annoying off-topic posts can be, we aren't able to pursue most
complaints we receive about them. We are using the information you
provide to make large-scale improvements in preventing abuse.
No matter where you go online, there are always trolls looking for
entertainment, trying to lighten up their sad, miserable lives. They
may seem like a pest that you can't get rid of, but they are not. I bet
they won't be laughing when they are dropped by their ISP's after a
good number of you folks report them.
