But for every person who posts, there are probably ten or more who lurk and
never post, or maybe more. Although the newer generation of Internet users
don't even know what Usenet is, and most ISPs will tell you that fewer than
1% of their customers use their NNTP server to read it, (didn't AOL totally
eliminate Usenet from their service earlier this year??..) .. the Google
figure is way off from reality. I suspect there are many thousands of people
reading this newsfroup. Only a tiny percentage of them actually ever post
anything. Some of the posters are prolific and post many times a week. Some
are semi-regulars and only post when they need a question answered. Some
post once to get a specific question answered and never post again.

By the way, if you take Spanish Fly and Ex Lax, you can come and go at the
same time.
