The ANA has done many updates to their website, and with the latest change
I
can not longer get access to the listing of dealers/
here is the URL http://www.money.org/ana_custom/dealer_search/
~~~~~~~~~~~
When I do a search I get this error message:
"Sorry, your request cannot be processed. The page requested was being accessed through an unauthorized website location. This request is only allowed to be processed through the ANA website
dealer
search page. Third party access is not allowed. Click here to start a new search."
~~~~~~~~~~~~
I've talked to them about this and here is the choice of options I get to resolve my problem; Therefore, as a solution we would advise several different options to
assist
in finding a remedy to your situation: 1.. You may want to try accessing the money.org dealer directory from a different computer. 2.. You may want to try accessing the money.org dealer directory from a different Internet Service Provider. 3.. Or you may want to try using an alternate Internet Browser. Some popular browsers aside from the commonly used Internet Explorer are
Netscape
and Firefox.
I'm a Comcast high speed user, using IE6.0, Norton Personal Firewall, computer is a dell 3gig machine all the bells and whistles to run fast and clean and not anything that should be an issues to this website. I do
tons
of very secure stuff online with no problems, why is this petty website blocking me from accessing their search feature.
Any and all input appreciated!
Thanks Michael

Open internet explorer and on the tool bar click tools\internet options. Empty out your temporary internet files making sure to check 'delete all offline content'. Might as well delete the history while you are there. --then try the link Sounds like a cookie problem (??) I had no problems getting on and they left a cookie--probably a tracking cooking so they can nab hackers or make some money on mouse clicks. If you look in C:\Documents and Settings\yourusername\Cookies there should be a cookie in there that says 'money' so delete that. Then try the link to that site. If that didn't work then delete all of your cookies. Before you delete the cookies make sure you know all of your passwords and usernames for any and all of your online accounts just in case. If that didn't work then try turning off your firewall. It could be blocking the cookie you need to access that feature on the site. If it isn't all that then call Comcast and tell them what the deal is. http://www.money.org/ana_custom/dealer_search/dealer_results.cfm?search_type=1a&dealer_id=1343 You could try this link and see what it does. They have the link back to the main search directory on the left side of that page. Kind of like trying to enter thru the back door. Sometimes it'll work--probably not. If it isn't any of that-- good luck.
bri, Clicking on your link above with Mozilla Firefox just crashed my program. .
