I don't believe for a second that Nigeria is going to do a serious
crackdown. They'll probably round up the usual suspects, show them off
to the world and say "See? We got 'em!" and then things will return to
as they have been. I read somewhere that 419 scams are something like
the third or second biggest "industry" in Nigeria -- surely you don't
think that the government is going to cut off that revenue stream?
