Summer jobs in New York

Hey, I am looking for information and advice about finding a job in or
around the climbing world for the summer. A couple friends and I would
like to spend the summer living and climbing in New York (primarily the
Gunks) but this would only be possible if we could find a way to make
some cash doing it. We've thought about being ropeguns, or even looking
into becoming rangers for the Mohonk Preserve (I'm not sure what all
this would require). I don't know nearly as much as i would like about
these or other sources of income that are out there. Any information
and/or advice to help us make our dream come true will be greatly
appreciated. Thanks a lot.
