I assume you're referring to the Kangtega located in Nepal Himalaya. It
was first climbed in '79 by the Japanese, and in '84 by a Spanish
women's team, which did a variation on the original route. In '98 there
was a strong French team climbed the North-East face. Finally in 2000
Valery Babanov of Russia made the first ascent of the North face,
though he did not go to the summit.
