I like this idea.
As with the liberal political agenda, this guy is extremely short sighted. He is looking at a minor point in the energy system. How is he going to compress the air, with a bicycle pump? He will have to plug an air pump into the electricity energy system to compress the air tanks on the car.
Batteries and air tanks are storage devices, without nuclear energy for electricity we will never have sufficient energy in the system to replace the energy from coal and gasoline.
Windmills have been tried and were rejected several hundreds of years ago, because they are dependent on the weather. Anyone who has sailed knows the fickleness of the wind. One minute you are becalmed, the next you have a tornado or hurricane.
