I love Agent, but it's not free any more.
I too love Agent. Have since 1997. It ain't that expensive. And now
that some servers no longer carry binary groups, Agent's APN is a
good deal. $2.95/mo/12G

I have just put in Thunderbird, but still can't figure out how to KF
the cowardly quartet... Anyone use thunderbird here? Can you steer me

I just installed it, too. I can't get it to hook up to comcast's news
server.

Comcast requires you to log onto the server, which is actually GigaNews, so you have to check that option in the Account setup. Your log in is the same as your email account name and password.
