Ping: All HDTV Owners

We will be purchasing a 46"~48" HGTV shortly, with a Sony Bravia 46" 1080p
LCD HDTV high on the list.
The TV will be going into our family room which is presently set to receive
premium HD service from TWC.
How difficult is it to set up and calibrate these TV's? Is it something
that you need to contract out or is it a DIY project?
