Let's wait and see how loogy explains the FACT that some instruments

Hey, did the they ever conclude the vinyl vs. tape "warmth" debate?
Analog vs. digital sound?
Which brings up the question I have, noting I'm not musical at all.
Can the harshness and and/or other ill effects of purely
instrument-performed tuning be eliminated by a tuning instrument
equipped with the "correct" sampling/correction algorithms?
Is there any tuner mfg claiming to have such an automated device,
and is there argument about it in the "musical" field?

Nope. No two pianos are identical. The basic problem is trying to tune
an imperfect instrument using a perfect system. There's a conflict
there!

To tune a piano PROPERLY so it sounds it's best requires some
education, lots of practice, and good ears.

Most piano tunings also involves at least minor repair work.

Nope, most piano tunings do not require repair work. Only if they have not
been tuned for years and years. Since my daughter is a professional in a
music related profession and her secondary degree is Piano Performance, we
still get the piano tuned each year before the holidays. Been a few years
since any repair was required, and that was just a bad string.
