Oh geeze, yes I enjoy a occassional sip on the water, you never
have ???

As a matter of fact, yes, but then I realized what a dumb ass I was being.
Haven't done so for many years now.

What is it with some people? A man has got to know his limitations
and operate within them.

For you, it appears that you have concluded that are not capable of
operating a boat safely after having ANY adult beverage. Good on you.
You know your limitations. Do everyone a favor and quit being all
preachy about the matter. Don't try to impose your personal
limitations on others. What is right for you may not be right for
others. You are indirectly calling me a dumbass because I lead my life
differently than you do. In my book, that directly makes you a self
centered dumbass.

I can have a beer or two every few hours and safely operate my boat.
Same with my cars. I wouldn't drink six beers in 15 minutes and run my
boat or drive my car. I wouldn't want others to, either. I drink a
glass or two of red wine several nights a week. If I don't have a
glass of wine, I'll have a beer or a cocktail. I sometimes have a
cocktail at a bar, with colleagues after work. In other words, a mild
buzz is something I am familiar with and I can handle without issue.
Apparently, there are many people who can't. Those that can't,
shouldn't. I don't try to make non-drinkers drink. Why do you think
it is right to impose your ways on other people?

You do what is right for you. Let the rest of us do what is right for
us. Different strokes for different folks. Respect for others is a
good thing. Imposing your views on others is a bad thing. No matter
what the issue.

Do you operate your boat or auto while 'buzzed'?

That was the word that got my attention, not one beer or one sip.
