| We interrupt this political peeing match for a non-partisan economic
| observation:
|
| I'll stay out of the politics here, but I think you'll find that $510
| per worker (not per family member, per worker) is substantially less
| than the current combined employer/employee costs associated with the
| normal "fringe benefit for middle and upper level employees" model we
| are more accustomed to. Give me back the $18,000 per year that health
| insurance costs my wife and me at this point, (with both employer and
| employee contributions considered) and I'll be darn pleased to pay
| $12000 in two-worker taxes.
|
| That would give me another $6000 per year to spend on the boat! I'm
| currently considering a new radar and autopilot......so hot dog,
| they'd be paid for in a year just off the savings.
|
| (Let the peeing match resume.....)

Not so fast, Chuck.
Using your accounting method:
Worker pays 510 per month
Employer pays 510 per month
times 12 months
times 2 employees
=$24480
Yur about $6400 short Chuck.
(Now! let the peeing match resume....)
