Don't go JimH on me. MOST of the right wing choose to believe right
wing views over good, honest science in this case. Just look at the
thread on global warming here, and you can instantly tell who is hard
core right wing, and who is either left or center. The belief that man
has had absolutely NO impact on the environment and it's changes is
pure ignorance. We're here, how could we not have an impact. Same thing
with people who believe clear cutting forests is good for the trees!

My advice is this: Stay away from political threads. Don't generalize. Stop
using the inclusive term 'righties' to express your views about individuals
with whom you choose to argue.

You have no idea how many 'righties', if any, believe that man has NO
impact on global warming. Anyone who has ever struck a match has had an
impact on global warming!
