This was at the Marriott marina. This is a high-end facility, and
serious hardware is slipped there. Fortunately the winds were calm,
which limited the spread of the fire.

No, I was at Shelter Cove Marina, which is on Shelter Island. The Marriott
is about 3.5 miles further east into San Diego Bay. It's a high-rent joint,
partly due to the amenities the hotel brings to the occupants.
