And in October, when we flew SFO to Rome, Italy via Cincinnati, I reached
into the carryon backpack when we having lunch in Cincinnati, inside the
security area, and I found the 4" folding knife that lives in the pack for
picnics. Since we did not have to exit the security area, I finished the
flight to Rome with a 4" knife aboard. And you may not get aboard with
drugs, but bombs may not be as highly search for. And when we flew out of
Quito this year, there was no major search of carryon for drugs. Was no
more search than any US airport, maybe less. Run the carryon through the
x-ray machine.
