Re: Sean Penn- convenient target to throw mud at. . .

I admit, I am seriously out of touch culturally and cannot tell one
actor or celeb from another, The only movies I ever see are little kid
movies so my fav actors are the penguins in "Madagascar" and Puss n
Boots in Shrek 2. They make sense to me, paying attention to some
person just cuz they have beautuful face puzzles me no end. I know
Oprah does book reviews and appears on magazine covers but can she do
anything? Does she know how to turn polluted water into clean
drinking water? Did she give a lot of money or something, even then,
did she need to be there or was it just a case of disaster touristing.
I considere driving over to Ocean Springs with my engineer but realized
that I would be more of a liability than assett. I may really know
some useful stuff but I think they needed somebody who deals with
people better so my machinist (a former NYC cop and all round
personable guy) went instead. I'd say that even if you do give money,
if somebody else would be better than you to help, send them. There's
enough gawkers and publicity hounds in this universe.
