All wrong, dreamboy. I don't care if the kid died sinking at the dock.
What I do care about is risking lives to save him later when he's in real
trouble and screaming for someone to come and save him. His condition
would NOT occur in the first place IF these adventurers were forced to have
someone on watch 24/7 the whole time the boat is at sea....keeping a sharp
lookout for you, for me and for everyone else.
