Something finally went wrong on my simple and reliable boat. You roller sail haters will love this.<snipped remainder of typical roll-up tale of woe>
If you idiots have been told once, you've been told a hundred times to lose the roll-ups. They're failure-prone and expensive. They result in a lousy sail shape. They are heavy. They jam when you want to roll them up and they unroll at the worst times like in a good blow at the docks. They are a waste of time on any sailboat under about 35 feet. Get rid of that roll-up crap and use hanked headsails. Good grief, man! You get exactly what you deserve and here you are whining on this group about something you brought upon yourself. Pathetic, man, pathetic!
