Hi:
Are you talking about a place located at the northern most part of the
SoC by a town called Puerto Penasco?
If so...... I took a 15' sailing dory there one spring and did the sail
beach camp thing for about a month in 1983.
There was some gringo named Roho (Red) who had a "marina" of sorts.
Nice guy willing to share a drink. The bay is shallow 1-2 miles wide
with lots of tide. It'll leave you miles from the water when the tide
is out. HOw do you get your boat in the water? The locals had
motorized contraptions that looked like travel lifts that carried boats
down to water deep enough to float. Trailers will not work there. A
real sight!
Do some research. Most likle things have changed in 20 years. But I
think the tides are the same....
