I concur. You might find that with any of the motorcycle chain lube products that the steel chain will last a LONG time. I use a #50 in a car wash application where it is always wet and the stainless chain wears faster than the steel rusts away as long as we recoat it every month or so. (the soap washes the chain lube away). We have tried many products but most of the high end chain lubes meant for motorcycles work the best.
Stainless with lube lasts 6-8 months, steel lasts a bit more than a year.
