I watched the video. WOW!!! Check it out and see what you think.

Looks like he's offering either multi-level marketing (MLM) or
trying to sell you the opportunity to become a spammer.

For MLM, they never tell you that the people who join the scheme
late are very unlikely to get as much money as they describe.

I suppose you already know that spammers are unwelcome in
nearly any part of Usenet except Google Groups...

That seems to be a pretty blatant accusation that spammers are welcome
on Google Groups. In fairness, I thought I should ask you to clarify.

Until about a week ago, nearly all the newsgroups spam I saw was
posted through Google Groups. I've read that Google Groups may
block spam for their own users, even though they let spammers
use Google Groups to post to the rest of Usenet. If you're using
certain Microsoft newsreaders, you can easily show this by opening
a spam post, then pressing the Ctrl key and the F3 key on your
keyboard at the same time to inspect the header.

For some time, I've been using this to report most of the spam I
see to the company that owns the newsgroups server. Most
internet and newsgroups providers then take action quickly, and
I'm unlikely to see that spammer post there again. However,
with Google Groups, it takes at least a month to get them to do
anything, and even then, they show no signs of blocking that
user from starting a new Google Groups account and sending
more spam.

During the last week, I've started seeing a lot of spam posted
through a newsgroups provider that looks even more friendly to
spammers. I'd rather not name it, in order to avoid helping any
spammer who may read this. This one encrypts the information
about what where the connection used to post it was from, with
enough other variable information added before the encryption
that the results can't be used to filter out all posts entered from
that point in the internet.

I'm looking into the possibility of adding a separate program
to my newsreader to block all spammers who keep posting
from the same point in the internet, but frequently changing
their return addresses. At least Google Groups includes the
IP address of the point it was posted from in the header, so
there's a possibility of filtering out only posts from those
Google Groups users, instead of from any Google Groups
user, like a number of newsgroups providers are starting to
do. So far, I've seen nothing posted through the even more
friendly provider except spam and off-topic posts, so I see
no problem with just blocking everything posted through that
provider. I'm also planning to look into one of the newsgroups
providers that are said to be good at blocking most of the spam
before it gets to their users.

Most of the available antispam programs that will run under
Vista are known for eventually corrupting the database of
Windows Mail, the email/newsreader program I use, although
slowly enough that the companies selling them often say otherwise.
