Hi Nan,
Here in Minnesota, I love all the seasons. The fall leaves
are showing their colorful splendor, and I actually look forward
to the first snowfall. Christmas wouldn't be the same without snow.
The only part of the year I don't like is Jan - Mar, with the
cold and more snow, but that's the time we escape to South Carolina.

I do love fall, and did as a kid in Mass, and I loved winter then too.
But winter gets into my bones now and makes me ache. I love the fall
colors, but here in DE they are muted, not the brilliant colors of
Mass & NH. Had the pleasure of taking DH to NH to our daughters in
prime leaf time. It was spectacular.
We are getting those crisp low humidity days with clear skys and warm
sun now and I do enjoy those. And our chicadees, tufted titmice, and
juncos will be returning. And I've heard more woodpecker noise in the
woods this week. The seasons will roll on as they always have, and I
shall roll with them.
