Raptor feeding
We have a large number of raptors where I live. They are hard to observe
and identify. Would it be possible to make a high pole and put meat up
there, or dead mice, and have them fly in and land for photography or
observation? Any other way to lure them in? They come all the time to
scout out my bird tree that is now full of juncos, goldfinches, house
finches, chipping sparrows, etc. I'm sure they're picking off some of
these.
I just want a landing spot where I can observe them better.
