Hey

Possums or Opossums are strange little creatures that stalk the night
foraging for eggs, small birds, chickens etc.. they are quite capable
little beasts!

The one you spotted was most likely struck by a vehicle..

Here is a "possum" pretending not to be seen in my neigbhours yard,
they tend to do that..This one stayed motionless for almost 10
minutes???
