Wolves and deer, etc. Was: Sibley on birds and windows

In the early 1900s, Minnesota had a bounty on wolves because
they were "decimating" the deer population. After some years
it was discovered that the plan didn't work and the deer
population increased dramatically. Now, we're trying to
reintroduce wolves to help control the deer population.
The lesson is: Mother nature has a plan, don't screw with it.
