Need some help here. I have been having a colony of swallows/martinsA few weeks ago I was in North Carolina looking for Barn Owls. which
perching
on the blades of a ceiling fan in my back porch for the past few
weeks. Having said this, they sit about 4 to 6 per blade and you can
imagine the amount of poop they generate that splatters all over the
patio table and floor. Is there any way of getting rid of them -
without harming them? As of lately I have had the fan on from dusk
till dawn and that seems to work, but there should be a more permanent
solution - HELP!!!
Thanks,

we did find by the way. The mess they make is unbelieveable! One
woman complained about the big mess made by "those big white bats!.
We visited one farmer who had them roosting in his tractor shed. He
loved them and it is a good thing that he does -- huge white splashes
of bird poop everywhere and lots of owl pellets. He just moves his
farm equipment out of the way but the only way he could keep his
things really free of mess was to give up his shed completely and let
the owls have it!
