there. In the process I drove by where the woman was killed and 4
people injured by the F3 that went through there. It was a horrific
scene. I could not in good conscience photograph the scene, would seem
ghoulish to me to do so.
We fared fine at the house, closest one to us was Lynchburg, about 12
miles south west of here.

The high winds cleaned out the pine trees! Lots of debris, some minor
damage up in Myrtle Beach. Saw a few houses under construction that lost
their new shingles, but that's about all. We were on the south end of it
all. Very little rain along with it. Looks like it moved quickly out to
sea and then took a quick turn north over Wilmington and up the coast.
Maybe the birds knew what was coming. Our 7 Baltimore Orioles are still
here. Normally, they would have gone north a couple of weeks ago. We are
watching the conversion of juvenile males becoming bright orange adult
orioles. They empty my hummingbird feeder daily now.
