Good advice.
Was planning on doing a lot of research before spending any money. I have
three unsatisfactory tripod heads now so I think it time to study first buy
later.
I took a couple of shots of the eclipse and will post them later. The thumb
nails look fine. You all can tell me what you think.

took some pictures but, they were un satisfactory.
I missed most of the Eclipse.
I think the photos came out pretty good but I am no judge of the technical
side of photography. You guys will have to judge if there are any shakes in
these. There should be since the camera was moving. They can be found at:

I usually set the camera for RAW and JPG ( for email). They haven't been
modified in any way.
Sorry, I do not know what settings. I set the ISO to auto with a maximum
sensitivity of 400 I just let the camera do its thing. I drag the photo into
I View Media if I want that info.
