Agressive, maybe, if defending a nest. But out in the open,
mowing the lawn, that shouldn't be a problem. If you want
to test, just walk around without the mower. This shouldn't
draw their attention.

Thanks......I'm all done. Your response did make it easier to watch it
swoop at me, anyway.
I wasn't sure if it was a mother or not, but more unsure about how far
they will go to defend a nest. And it is a barn swallow......I Googled
and looked at images. Thanks again....
