help!!

I'm trying to mow a lawn, and there are small, dark blue birds
attacking me. Not necessarily hitting me, but coming REALLY close. I
guess I'm a chicken (pun intended?), but I'm really freaked out by
these birds........They're only a few inches long with a wingspan of
about 4-5 inches. Any guesses?
